
Our Reconciliation Journey
At Rockhampton South Kindergarten, reconciliation is embedded in our curriculum, pedagogy and everyday practice. We are committed to honouring and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories and perspectives. We support our children to develop respect, understanding and meaningful connections with Country, community and one another.
Acknowledgement of Country
Rockhampton South Kindergarten wishes to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, the Darumbal People, of the land on which our Kindergarten is found. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. Here is the sky. Here is the land. Here are my friends and here am I. We promise to take care of the land on which we play. Hands up. Hands down. We are on Darumbal Land.
